Collection: Waterproof Jewelry
ORNALIO waterproof jewelry is made with 316L stainless steel and 18k gold PVD coating - materials built for daily water exposure. Every piece is designed to survive showers, workouts, pool days, and everyday wear without tarnishing, fading, or turning skin green. No off days, no babying required. 316L is a medical-grade alloy with no copper in its composition, and PVD bonds the gold finish at a molecular level rather than sitting on the surface like standard plating. The result is jewelry you can actually wear everywhere.

Waterproof jewelry FAQ
What jewelry can I wear in the shower without ruining it?
Jewelry made with 316L stainless steel or titanium can be worn in the shower without damage. ORNALIO pieces use 316L steel with PVD coating - corrosion-resistant by design. Standard gold-plated jewelry should be removed before showering; its base metal and thin plating are not water-resistant.
What jewelry doesn't tarnish or fade?
316L stainless steel with PVD coating resists both tarnishing and fading with normal wear. The steel base does not oxidize, and the PVD layer is bonded more durably than standard electroplating. Solid gold (14k+) and titanium also do not tarnish. Brass and standard gold plating do.
Is waterproof jewelry actually waterproof or just marketing?
For 316L stainless steel with PVD coating: genuinely waterproof - the alloy is corrosion-resistant by composition. For "waterproof" gold-plated jewelry: the plating can lift with water exposure over time. The base metal matters, not the label. Check for 316L or titanium in the materials.
